Two important sessions before year end – final chance to register!

Happy Tuesday!

A quick reminder not to miss the two sessions taking place over the next few days – the Employment Rights webinar and the briefing on getting involved in Conflict Resolution Week. With those coming up, we’re also sharing a short reflection on the conflict trends beginning to shape 2026, along with a few updates as we head into the Christmas period. It is all systems go here at ADR Mediation and we have so many exciting plans on the horizon that we’ll be bringing you news and opportunities to get involved as soon as they’re ready – as well as launching our new training brochure to show you what is available to support you, your teams and your organisation. Let’s jump in…

Final call: Employment Rights Act webinar

The Employment Rights Bill is back in the House of Lords this week, and the implications for organisations are becoming clearer by the day. Friday’s webinar is your opportunity to hear directly from specialists in employment law, HR and conflict resolution as they break down what these changes will mean in real operational terms.

This session will go far beyond the headlines. Expect a clear, practical walk-through of the shifts that will reshape early decision making – from day-one unfair dismissal to predictable working patterns and new redundancy protections linked to family leave. If you support managers, lead teams or advise on cases, this briefing will give you the clarity and confidence you need ahead of implementation.

If this is on your radar, now is a good moment to register!

Be part of the first ever Conflict Resolution Week

Conflict Resolution Week is launching for the very first time in 2026, and it has the potential to become a powerful national moment for raising awareness, strengthening confidence and putting early communication at the heart of how organisations and communities work. Friday’s session will give you the first look at the programme of events and activities being developed and the many ways organisations can get involved.

We’ll be sharing the themes that will drive the week, the opportunities to host or contribute to events, and how the campaign can support your own internal priorities around communication, psychological safety and early intervention. This is a chance to help shape something new and genuinely meaningful as it begins to take form.

If you want to be part of building the very first Conflict Resolution Week – and help put conflict resolution firmly on the national agenda then make sure you join us:

Forbes highlights key workplace conflict trends for 2026

Forbes published a new article this week outlining the workplace conflict trends expected to shape 2026, and the themes reflect many of the patterns emerging across the organisations we support. AI-generated grievances are becoming more common, often arriving as long, detailed submissions that need clear triage and consistent communication from the outset. Managers are also spending more time on conflict, with many issues escalating simply because the early conversations feel unclear or inconsistent. Alongside this, expanding employment rights and a growing confidence in speaking up mean that concerns are being raised sooner, and in greater volume, than in previous years.

The picture is one of steadily increasing conflict, arriving earlier and with higher expectations for how it will be handled. As we move into 2026, the organisations that will feel most prepared are those building a clear, shared approach to early resolution — one that gives managers the confidence to respond well and prevents avoidable escalation.

Our 2026 training brochure is now live

As conflict pressures rise and resolution becomes a central organisational focus, teams are beginning to think more purposefully about the skills and frameworks they want in place for 2026. We’ve just launched our new training brochure, bringing together programmes that can be tailored to your organisation and delivered in the way that works best for your teams.

The brochure includes practical, skills-based courses across early resolution, mediation, restorative practice, conflict coaching and psychologically informed communication… all designed to give staff clearer language, stronger confidence and approaches they can use immediately. Whether you are planning a full programme for your organisation or looking for targeted support for specific teams, the brochure sets out everything available for the year ahead.

You can download the full brochure below, and if you would like to explore how the programmes could support your organisation, we’re always happy to help.

Christmas communications

As we move towards the Christmas period, we’re mindful that this time of year doesn’t feel the same for everyone. For some it brings connection and a change of pace, and for others it can feel quieter, more challenging or shaped by loss. With that in mind, and with wanting to give our team a much needed break too; next week will be our final weekly newsletter before we return to the office on 5 January. We will continue to share updates, reflections and supportive content over on our LinkedIn page, so if you haven’t connected with us yet, you can follow along here:

We’re also beginning to shape our communications for 2026 and would value your input. If there’s something you’d like more of in the new year, whether that’s practical tools, sector insight, training updates or space to pause and reflect, feel free to hit reply and let us know. Our aim is always to offer support that feels relevant and genuinely helpful to the work you do.

We’ll be back next week with our final update before the break. Have a good week!
