There’s been a real sense of connection across the ADR community this week. We were pleased to attend the Green & Burton ASB11 Conference, where partnership working and inclusive practice were key themes running through every discussion. It was a reminder of why dialogue, empathy and early intervention remain central to what we do.
As we mark Hate Crime Awareness Week, we’re sharing new membership resources to support reflection and awareness, alongside the final call to book your place on our Mediation Refresher Course on 29 October.
And finally, a little something to keep on your radar – plans are already underway for a major ADR event in 2026 that you won’t want to miss.

Delivered by experienced trainers, the course is designed to help you leave with renewed focus and practical tools you can apply immediately.
Hate Crime Awareness Week – New Member Resources
This week is Hate Crime Awareness Week, a moment to reflect on how mediation can play a role in recognising and challenging hate, bias and exclusion.
We’ve added new resources to the ADR Member Hub, including:
- A practical guide to spotting bias indicators in conflict situations
- Reflective practice tools for debriefing hate-related cases
- A quick-read explainer on community impact and inclusion
These materials are designed to help practitioners strengthen their conflict intelligence and build confidence in naming and addressing hate in their work.
If you’re an ADR Member, log in now to access the new resources.
Not yet part of the membership? Joining gives you access to the full library, supervision sessions and discounted training opportunities.
Something Big is Coming in 2026...
We can’t reveal all the details just yet, but plans are already taking shape for a major event in 2026 that will bring together mediators, housing professionals and conflict resolution specialists from across the UK.
It’s going to be one of the biggest things we’ve ever done — so keep your eyes on your inbox and LinkedIn feed over the next few weeks for the first announcement.
That’s it for this week’s update.
We’d love to hear your thoughts or ideas for what you’d like to see featured in future editions. Just hit reply… It’s always great to hear from you.
See you next week,
The ADR Mediation Team
